Is the image uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.
What's the quality of the resized image?
We use the browser's built-in image resampling. Downscaling is high-quality; upscaling beyond 200% isn't allowed because results would be blurry.
What format do I get back?
The same format as your input (JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, WEBP stays WEBP). Need a different format? Use our format converters after resizing.
