Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The watermark is composed in your browser via the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.
What's the difference between text and logo?
Text watermark: type your text, pick font/size/color. Logo watermark: upload an image (typically a PNG with transparency) — your brand logo, signature, etc.
Will my watermark be visible after compression?
Yes — the watermark is baked into the pixels of the output image. It survives compression, resizing, and format conversion.
What format do I get back?
Same format as your input (JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, WEBP stays WEBP).
Does the watermark scale with the image?
Font size is measured in pixels of the output image. For very large photos (4K+) you may want to increase the font size for visibility.
